Chapter 31


Scout: I walk Boo upstairs to say goodnight to Jem and then walks him home, and never sees him again, but I return home and find Atticus sitting in Jem’s room, and reads me one of Jem’s books until I fall asleep.

Chapter 30




Scout: I take Boo down to the porch where Atticus and Heck was arguing and Heck insists on calling the death an accident, but Atticus says that Heck is wrong about Jem killing Bob Ewell that he fell on his knife.

Chapter 29




Scout: I tell everyone what I heard and saw about Heck Tate shows me costume with a mark on it where a knife slashed and was stopped by the wire, and I get to the point that Jem got picked up and carried home.

Chapter 28


Scout: I and Jem were so ashamed that we waited backstage until the crowd was gone before we went home.

Chapter 27




Scout: for Halloween I was a wire mesh shaped to look like ham.

Chapter 26


Scout: my teacher Miss Gates lectures the class on the wickedness of Hitler’s persecution of the Jews and on the virtues of equality and democracy, and I later ask Jem how Miss Gates can preach about equality when she came out of the courthouse after the trail.

Scout: Jem tells me not to smash a bug because it has not done anything to me.

Chapter 24




Scout: now she have me wearing a dress because she invites her missionary circle to tea, and finds out that Tom tries to escape and gets shot seven times.

Chapter 23


Scout; I announces that I wanted to invite Walter to dinner and Aunt Alexandra say no and I get mad.

Chapter 22


Scout: Miss Stephanie Crawford is question to Jem and I about the trail and Miss Maudie rescue us.

Chapter 21

Scout: we go back in and Cal is now handing Atticus a note telling that his me and Jem and Dill has not been home since noon. And Atticus sends us home to eat supper and we ate fast and got back to the courtroom fast.

Chapter 20




Scout: Mr. Raymond tells me and Dill the truth about he is not a drunk that he is just trying to prove a point between blacks and whites.

Chapter 19




Scout: now Tom time to testifies, then Dill starts to cry and I take him outside and he complains to me about Mr. Gilmer’s rude treatment to Tom Robinson.

Chapter 18




Scout; I continue to listen to Atticus ask questions like how come nobody heard Mayella screams and how did he bruised her eye, and admitted no rape.

Chapter 17




Scout: I sit there and watch Atticus go to work on Mr. Ewell about the rape.

Chapter 16




Scout: the next day the trail begins and people crowd it up, and me and Jem goes up stairs with Reverend Sykes.

Chapter 15




Scout: group of men come to the Maycomb jail where Atticus and Tom was at and me, Jem, and Dill went to defend and told Jem to takes us home and he says no and soon pass that I look around and say hey how you doing Mr. Cunningham and tells him to tell Walter that I said hi and told I am in his class and suddenly ashamed, and then they clear out and Atticus take us home.

Chapter 14


Scout: I finally bring up rape to Atticus and Aunt Alexandra and about Cal church and Aunt Alexandra says not to go again next Sunday and to get rid of Cal that we don’t need her anymore, and later that night I find out Dill had ran away and sneaks under my bed and Atticus takes him home next door to his aunt Miss Rachael.

Chapter 13


Scout: my aunt Alexandra makes Atticus to lecture them on the subject of the subject of their ancestry, which makes me cry.

Chapter 12


Scout: Cal takes me and Jem to her church where we meet Reverend Sykes, who takes up money for Tom Robinson wife, and I asked why and they say because she can’t find a job, and I asked why is Tom Robinson in jail and they tell me rape and I asked what is rape and Cal tells me to asked Atticus.

Chapter 11


Scout: I notice that Mrs. Dubose shouts at me and Jem as we pass by and that Atticus had told Jem to be nice to her, because she is old and sick, but one day she says that Atticus is not better than the blacks and trash he works for and Jem’s loses his temper and for punishment he has to go to her house everyday for a month and read to her.

Chapter 10




Scout: one day me and Jem was coming home from school and we saw a vicious dog coming down toward the house, so we call Calpurnia, ands she calls Atticus, and Atticus shoots the dog, but miss Maudie tells me and Jem that Atticus is the best shooter in Maycomb but not to tell because it is an secret.

Chapter 9


Scout: I am mad at Francis about talking about dill in a bad manner and speaking bad talk about Atticus for defending Tom Robinson and beat him up and tell him to not tell Atticus because he told me not to beat anyone up if they tease me about
Atticus defending Tom.

Chapter 8




Scout: at the start I was having fun playing in the snow, and I was feeling sad, and scared when my house and miss Maudie’s house burns down to the ground, but I was more scared when I saw Boo Radley standing behind me.

Chapter 7

Scout: here I feel unhappy about the second grade and Jem cheer me up, and I am unhappy about that the tree was getting old and they had feel the knothole with cement

Chpater 6


Scout : I am scared when Jem and Dill sneak’s over to the Radley’s place and here a gunshot and runs under a fence but Jem pants gets caught on to it and Atticus ask him were is his pants and Dill lies to Atticus about playing strip poker. Jem sneaks back to Radley’s place to get them.

Chapter 5


Scout: I am feeling left out with Dill and Jem because they have grown closer, and now I have no one to hang with, in till I find Miss Maudie Atkinson a window talent for gardening and cake baking and childhood with my father brother Jack and says that Boo was an good boy but doesn’t know about now but meanwhile Jem, Dill plan to give Boo an note with a fishing pole to come and get some ice cream in till Atticus catches us and tell us to stop.

Chapter 4




Scout : finally I think to myself that school is finally over. One day after school going home I pass by the Radley’s oak tree and find to foil wrappers with gum inside them and I eat them both and tells Jem about them and he tells me to spit it out. And now summer is here and Dill is back and we start back playing our fun games and I think of an game called the Boo Radley and Atticus ask do it has anything to do with the Radley place and I say’s no.

Chapter 3


Scout: at lunch I am so mad at Walter that I rub his nose in the dirt, because I try to help him out but I get into trouble.

Chapter 2


Scout: summer is now is over and I am preparing for school and when I get there, here’s my teacher Miss Caroline I can see is very mean because there is this boy in my class name Walter Cunningham and his family is very poor and he has no lunch for the day and probably for the rest of the year, and Miss Caroline must does not understand that, because she is letting him borrow a quarter so he can buy lunch and to pay her back tomorrow, and I am trying to tell her that he isn’t going to be able to pay her back but what does she do, slap my hand with an ruler and that makes me very angry.

Chapter 1




Scout : I am feeling very interested to see deeper into the story that my friend Dill is telling my brother Jem and I, because he is saying that a man name Boo Radley has got into trouble with the law and been in his house ever since. And I am trying to understand what has he done so baldly to make him stay in his house this long and not come out.
